After watching Star Wars: A New Hope for the first time in 2016, Ava Grace was immediately inspired to begin bringing her own ideas to life via art, writing and film. Throughout high school she built her skills by taking multiple art classes, becoming a diligent traditional and digital artist. In 2021, she began publishing journey by writing and illustrating When I Look Up to the Stars for her cousin's birthday. 

Ava continues to write and illustrate children's books with the goal of creating content that inspires kids, just like the books she read inspired her. She's published three titles so far, and plans on releasing two new children's books in 2024. 

When she's not working on books, Ava Grace can be found writing film scripts, attempting to play piano, or enjoying a walk with her two beloved dogs.
